Karen and Michael like Hawaii. Like really like Hawaii. They go whenever they can (and who can blame them?). But when it came time to planning their wedding they really had to keep it close to home so friends and family could still come. So they did the next best thing: they had a Hawaiian-themed wedding. They eschewed the traditional wedding garb for Hawaiian shirts and lays, and even had their cake decorated like a sandy beach. They even went so far as to ask their wedding photographer to wear a Hawaiian shirt (which he was happy to do, of course). And while they did honeymoon in Hawaii, Karen and Michael held their wedding in Placerville, California.
