License fees
All of my photos are available as Rights
Managed stock photos.
Fees for Rights Managed photos depend on how photos are used, and are based
on industry standard guidelines, including the type of usage (e.g., advertising
vs. editorial), image size, press run/circulation, and duration of license.
Because the use of photos can vary greatly, licensing fees are determined
on an individual basis.
My prices are based in part on FotoQuote
Pro software, an industry
standard in pricing photography, and are very competitive with the
major stock agencies.
Price tables
Despite the case-by-case nature of licensing images, there are some general
trends that can give you an idea how much a license may cost. Scroll down to
find the most appropriate match.
- The prices below are printed as a guide only, based on circulation
and size. They do not represent fixed prices, and should not be interpreted
as quotes.
- Prices reflect national distribution. Fees for smaller or larger
distributions will vary accordingly.
- The prices for some categories reflect specific uses (e.g., advertising
in a magazine), and are not fully representative of
that category.
- Page size refers to the size of the image relative
to the layout. For example, if you have a ½ page magazine
ad, and the photo takes up ½ of the layout, the size is ½ page,
not ¼ page.
- I offer discounts for licensing multiple images, and for
renewing licenses beyond the original license duration.
