My pricing is à la carte, and not all tied up in packages.
Why? I don’t want to sell you a photography package. I want to sit down with you and talk about how you want to capture the feeling and moments of this special day, and how you want to remember it in years to come. That way we can craft the kind of coverage and products you want — not what I’ve decided you need.
Besides, things are tight these days, and what may have been fine a few years ago (like large canvas prints and leather-bound albums) may be a luxury now. You shouldn’t have to compromise on the quality of coverage just because you can’t spring for all the stuff in a package offered by the photographer you really want to work with.
I’m based in the foothills outside Sacramento, so I need to add a travel fee to anything outside the general Sacramento/Foothills area.
Weddings: Starting at $1800
As much coverage of the day as you want, whether it’s just shots of the ceremony and some family portraits or everything from bridal prep through reception. This typically works out to 9-10 hours.
I don’t charge by the hour, because I don’t want you feeling rushed into getting all the important moments crammed into my allotted time. You have your day, and I’ll be there to photograph it. Simple, huh?
Portrait session: $200
A simple photo shoot of you and your sweetie — no engagement, wedding, or other special event required. Or you and your dog. Or just your dog. Something else? Just ask. A typical shoot lasts 45min – 1 hour and produces 35-40 final images.
What do I get?
For all my photo shoots, I put the final edited images online in a password-protected gallery where you, friends, and family can view the photos and order prints directly using a professional lab I work with. You’ll also be able to download low-resolution versions perfect for sharing on Facebook or sending to grandma over email. If you want to purchase high-resolution files for your own printing and safekeeping, you can do so on a per-image basis. If you just want all the high resolution images on a disk, I can do that, too.
What, no albums? Nope, I’m afraid not. Why? Well, I’m a photographer, not an album designer. I may start offering albums in the future, but for now you can take my photos and have them made into an album by someone who specializes in wedding albums.
